We only had a little bit of snow at my house yesterday but 15 miles to the north there was over a foot of snow. Tomorrow is supposed to be cold again with snow showers. Today was an gorgeous mid 60 degree day.
Julie and I went for a hike in Red Rock Canyon Open Space. Our 4 year old was in the pack on my back. The hike put her to sleep.
I looked out at Red Rocks Canyon from my parent’s kitchen every day growing up. It’s such a beautiful place! It looks better now than it did then since the landfill is closed. It would be a shame if houses get built on White Acres along the upper part.
After the hike, I rode my bike over to pick up my kindergartener from school. After we rode back home, I rode some more. I felt good most of the ride. At the end, I was on empty but it was a good feeling.

My four year would never have been that patient! You are lucky.
We got a lot more snow up here in Crystal Park than there was down in town. It was beautiful up here on Sunday. Most of it has melted already, but it sounds like we’ll be replenished soon.
