24 Hours of eROCK 2010

Yesterday I rode up to the 24 Hours of eROCK and caught the last hour and a half of racing. It was a hot day for racing. Some of the past 24 Hours of eROCK, it got chilly during the night but riders told me it stayed fairly warm during the night.

For the first time, the course was run clockwise instead of counter-clockwise. A couple racers I talked to that have done it in the past thought that it made the course faster. Looking at the results, over half the class winners had more laps than last year so running in reverse is possibly faster.

I have several photos from late in the 24 Hours of eROCK in my photos section.

Here are the top results

    Hi Ultra Rob,
Was just looking at your results (I was googling for them) …not sure where you pulled them from…but I noticed an error– I racing on the Eric Shorts team coed 4-5 — we actually won with 45 laps. 😉 — Thanks for covering the fun race. (We were able to get a racer home with 3 minutes to spare to pull off the extra lap over the boys from Pactimo. 😉

Thanks for stopping by YetiBeti. Great job on the race!

I’m a confused because the results I have posted does have Eric Shorts in 1st with 45 laps in the Coed 4-5. What is the error? I got the results from the computer at the race about the time they started giving out awards.

  3. UltraRob says:

Oh, now I see the error. I typed in the wrong number of laps and miles. I have it corrected now.
