Photos from the 2008 24 Hours of Moab mountain bike race. I took a large number of pictures so I've broken them into a few albums.
The photos are on SmugMug which provides a lot of features. You can view the photos in 7 different sizes. They have a nice slideshow. You can adjust the speed in the upper left corner. Sometimes the control bar hides itself but will be shown again if you put your mouse along the top. You can also buy photos and digital downloads through SmugMug.
I'm more than happy to give you photos to use on the web as long as you credit me and provide a link back to this page. Just send me an e-mail with a link to the photo you would like.
Use the search box below to search all of the photos. If you raced and are looking for photos of your team, use either your team number or part of your team name although the number won't work if it was less than 100.

Fun at the 24 Hours of Moab
The Lighter Side of Racing
For a lot of racers, the 24 Hours of Moab is a big end of season party. For many it's more about hanging out with friends and having fun than it is about racing. Here is some of the fun from the race.
Race Venue and Camp Area
Photos from around the venue and camp area.
Solo Riders
Moab always has a large competitive field of solo racers. The top solo racers ride more laps than many of the relay teams. Most of these photos are in the other albums but there are a few bonus ones thrown in too.
Start Through Leaders Starting the 2nd Lap
Photos of the start and of the racers coming into the check-in tent from the 1st lap. There are also photos of some of the top riders finishing the 2nd lap.
Late Saturday Afternoon
Photos from the first part of the course late in the afternoon as the sun was setting.
Saturday Night
Photos mainly out on the course during the first couple hours after dark.
Sunday Mid Morning

Late Sunday Morning
