4FRNT's Renegade Ski isn't the new kid on the block anymore, but the fact that everyone still loves it even without the new kid at school sheen is pretty solid evidence that the Renegade is awesome. The Renegade's designed with a full rocker profile to take advantage of all the untracked cold smoke you find and has a tapered tip and tail to allow for easy smearing and gigantic power slides. The nose rocker is significantly higher for better float, while the low profile tail rocker provides the backbone you need to stomp cliffs and the power to finish turns hard and without getting sloppy. Sliding's great, but Hoji gets up on edge better than pretty much anyone in the game, so it's only logical that the Renegade uses Reflect Tech to match the sidecut and camber profiles, offering smooth, hook free carving and more effective edge than a fully rockered ski has any right to. The stiff wood core and newly added carbon stringers are sandwiched between two fiberglass laminates for a stiff, powerful ride that's not super heavy, so touring isn't entirely out of the question. 4FRNT's unique semi cap construction foregoes full sidewalls in favor of wrapping the topsheet into the half height ABS sidewalls for durability and silly amounts of energy transfer without the making the ski weighty and clunky. The Renegade also boasts a vibration dampening Vibe Veil layer to make your ride that much smoother and durable full wrap steel edges to resist blowouts when the going gets sharky.
