Anon has broken new ground this year, going beyond goggles and introducing a new line of snowsport helmets. The company is obsessed with cool design and excellent functionality, and even its lower priced Raider Helmet demonstrates the quality that Anon is going for. This helmet focuses on delivering the basics in the best possible way at a price that won't break the bank. The tough and durable Endura Shell two piece construction with an injection molded ABS exterior is built to last through knocks and dings for long term, reliable wear. The fleece lining and ear pads provide comfortable warmth and are removable if you prefer to wear your own favorite beanie underneath. The helmet is what Anon describes as Simple Fit, which means it does not have a built in adjustment system, but the removable lining and ear pads allow for some degree of variance. Since you're working up a good sweat when you're out on your board, the helmet has strategically placed vents that use channels in the front to draw fresh air in while sweat moisture is pulled out the back. And if you like to keep a high adrenaline soundtrack going during your runs or stay connected to your phone, the helmet is compatible with a Skullcandy speaker system with an ear pad mic and remote control option, system sold separately.
