Built for the most demanding high altitude conditions, the Asolo Men's Manaslu GV Mountaineering Boot offers unmatched protection for your high alpine pursuits. Designed to save on weight without compromising warmth or waterproofing, this ultra durable double boot utilizes a built in gaiter that runs over the boot. The construction of the gaiter is composed of a highly abrasive resistant Cordura. If that wasn't enough, Asolo reinforced the gaiter with additional Cordura and Kevlar laminates. The gaiter uses a Gore Tex comfort footwear laminate providing breathability and protection from moisture. A shell below the gaiter provides additional warmth and protection thanks to an extra layer of Cordura and 2mm of felt. The inner boot is composed of a breathable polyester, and heated with 200g Primaloft insulation. A rigid lasting board made of carbon and fiberglass provides a stable platform when you're making your way up technical ascents, while the anatomic footbed with Manaslu felt keeps them comfortable. 400g Primaloft insulation is located below the footbed to prevent cold from coming in through the bottom of the boot. All the while, a Vibram Mulaz sole provides durability as well as excellent traction up the boot pack. The Manaslu GV is compatible with automatic crampons.
