For a drivetrain that can tackle most any commute, the Beltway 8 features smooth Shimano Alfine shifters with RapidFire and a Breezer crankset. The RapidFire addition to the shifters allows cyclists to shift super quickly, and downshift 3 gears in one stroke. The Breezer crankset is a custom built component that keeps the weight of the Beltway low, while still providing great working ability The Beltway 8 comes standard with Schwalbe Marathon Racer tires.
