Get ready to have a goofy smile plastered across your face from first chair til last when you show up for the next pow day with the Burton Women's Family Tree High Spirits Snowboard. Fine tuned specifically for female powder fiends, this directional board stays afloat in the deepest snow and offers a nimble, surfy feel that's fun as hell to ride when you're picking your way through tight trees and throwing up overhead waves of snow in open pow fields. With a wide nose and tapered tail, plus a set back stance, it's easy to keep your nose up in deep snow. Having your back foot closer to the narrow tail also makes it easier to steer in untracked powder, so you can weave nimbly through dense strands of aspen. Adding even more float is a Directional Flying V profile, which is rockered from the nose through the middle of the board to help you stay on top of the snow. Camber under the back foot adds drive and power, and it helps the board hold an edge when you pop out of the trees onto a groomed run. With a mix of different types of wood, the sustainably harvested Super Fly II 700g core targets specific areas of the core to reduce weight while increasing pop and power. Meanwhile, Dualzone EGD gives you extra edge hold through perpendicular strips of wood along the edges. Squeezebox core profiling balances thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections for a snappier, more stable, and easier to manipulate ride. 60 degree Carbon Highlights integrate high energy carbon strands into the board's fiberglass layup for improved response and pop, without making the board too stiff or heavy. Burton overbuilt this board and pre broke it in to ensure it's ready to go from day one.
