For riders with wider dogs, wearing regular snowboard boots leads to cramped feet, making every turn a painful ordeal. Burton created a solution to this long standing problem with the Burton Men's Ruler Wide Snowboard Boot. As one of the few wider boots on the market, this boot has a widened mid and forefoot, allowing you to ride comfortably without having to sacrifice fit and performance by sizing up. Carrying the attitude that one boot should conquer everything from steeps to park kickers, the Ruler Wide Snowboard Boot reins in iconic versatility with a happy medium flex that's neither overly aggressive nor noodly soft. As always, Burton outfitted this boot with Speed Zone lacing for a dialed fit over the upper and lower zones. Another Burton staple, Shrinkage tech reduces the boot's footprint by an entire size, which is helpful for alleviating toe drag when you're packing plus sized boots. The Imprint 2 liner benefits from the addition of 3M Thinsulate insulation, trapping extra warmth during those frigid shred sessions. This thermo moldable liner customizes the fit by molding to the shape of your foot as you ride. Rounding things out, the DynoGrip sole features reinforced rubber zones for aggressive grip across sketchy ice and steep terrain. Embedded into this sole, B3 Gel cushioning soaks up heavy landings and excess vibration from fatiguing your shred session.
