For Capo's new HV high visibility Padrone Jersey, the apparel wizards applied the latest in reflective fabric technology, which provides the same technical attributes and sleek styling of their original Padrone, but pushes safety to the surface with strategically placed panels of materials that illuminate when light hits their surfaces. Now you receive the same tried and proven Padrone Jersey, but with added safety built directly into its design. The HV builds off of the original Padrone, which took 18 months to develop, and it is comprised of 22 panels made of several fabrics. The panels for the chest, shoulders, and sleeves are HSC, high stretch compression. It's lightweight, breathable, wicking skinsuit material. In place of the Carbon E from the original Padrone's back panel and side zones, Capo applied its new Super Black and P 10 Membranes. Both of these ultra reflective materials are what contribute to the jersey's visible properties, and they were engineered to provide the same controlled stretch, wind and water repellency, and wicking abilities as the materials they replace. The front of the waist and the sleeves are cuffed with a new creation Capo calls Dual Ply Power V, which has been finished off with reflective bands, too. It is two fabrics bonded together vertically ribbed Power Lycra on the outside for controlled stretch and V Mesh on the inside for comfort, grip, and wicking. Capo took a hard look at its top end race jerseys, and it applied its streamlined fits as a starting platform. With a body following cut, the Padrone features paneling that smoothly wraps the upper arms and torso, which serves to follow your motions while in the saddle. Capo extended the sleeves down to just above the elbow, providing just the right balance of protection and freedom of movement.
