Sitting just behind the Krypton Pro in Dalbello's big mountain freeride line, the Krypton Fusion Men's Ski Boot throws down with the same tech and high performance features as its slightly burlier brother, but with a more manageable 120 flex that's money for shredders looking to step their game up a notch. The 98mm last provides the same snug fitting performance as the Krypton 2, and the Fusion has the same pre punched Contour 4 shell fit that's designed to fit the awkward knobs on your foot comfortably, with only minimal shell fiddling. Your heel will feel more solidly locked down than it ever has, courtesy of Dalbello's legendary Dynalink Rearfoot Retention system, and the inverted forefoot buckle will wrap your foot into the bootboard rather than squeeze the shell around your toes, giving you a super stable platform for responsiveness without pinching. Of course, the Fusion would hardly be a Dalbello if it didn't have the classic three piece Cabrio design architecture, which uses a stiff shell and cuff for serious lateral power transmission think bomber edging but a progressively flexing tongue that skis equally well and comfortably whether you're putting the hammer down or cruising groomers with your little grom cousin. Bonus: the tongue helps to reduce shin bang and makes the Fusion easier to get on and off, too. Like all Dalbello freeride boots, the Fusion features a center balanced Rocker stance, which makes it easier to ski today's big, progressively shaped skis, and lets you adjust the lean, flex, and canting so you can always have your boot dialed to perfection.
