Boasting a ventilated, high performance suspension system, torso length adjustability and a long list of features, the Deuter Futura Vario Pro 5010 pack is well equipped for weekend and multi day backpacking trips.The Futura Vario Pro 5010 pack combines the Aircomfort Futura Vario Pro Back System with Deuter's VARIFIT harness system. A strongly woven strap ladder, the VARIFIT harness system allows you to select the desired position for optimal comfort and load distribution based on your height. The Aircomfort Futura Vario Pro Back System, consisting of a lightweight PE frame sheet and 2 preformed horizontal aluminum stays, provides stability and flexibility, adding tension to the mesh back panel. Moist air can freely escape through the space created between the pack body and your back, preventing heat buildup. Soft, breathable fabrics and ventilated pads in the back, shoulder straps and VARIFLEX pivoting hipbelt further help to keep you cool and comfortable on the trail. Load adjuster straps and shoulder and lumbar padding further aid in the effective distribution of weight throughout the pack. Side compression straps enable you to reduce and expand the size of the pack body as needed, further securing contents and ensuring stabilization of the load.A zippered divider between the Futura Vario Pro 5010 pack's main compartment and front entry sleeping bag compartment allows for organization and separation of wet and dry gear. When hauling longer items or in need of access between the two compartments, you can unzip the divider and convert the Futura Vario Pro 5010 to a single, large compartment. The main compartment has top loading access and in addition, a large, U shaped front zipper enables you to quickly put hands on gear and or clothes without having to dump out the entire contents of your pack. An integrated, extendible spindrift collar protects the interior of the packbag and increases the pack's full capacity to 3661 cubic inches.A large front zippered pocket offers additional storage.
