Diamondback Haanjo Trail Carbon Gravel Bike 2017. When your definition of what constitutes a road gets a little flexible, there's only one bike you need: The Diamondback Haanjo Trail Carbon gravel bike. The original Haanjo was one of our favorite bikes when it was first launched a couple of years ago, and it remains our go to when versatility is key. The Carbon model takes it up a notch with smart features, a great spec, and well thought out design. The heart of the new Haanjo is a full carbon fiber frame and fork that are built lightweight, stiff and tough for a new breed of road rider who doesn't let the adventure end just because the pavement does. Diamondback also took a look at the original alloy Haanjo, and found a few places they could improve things to meet customer demands. The bike has braze ons for front and rear rack mounts and fenders, front and rear thru axles, and room for 40mm tires that can churn through single track, Midwestern gravel, and yes even pavement. The Haanjo Trail is spec'ed like the high performance gravel race machine that the designers intended it to be. Whether you want a gravel bike that delivers up the best in performance so you can get the most out of your rides, or want a go fast machine for Dirty Kanza or the Almanzo 100, the Haanjo trail is up to the task. Shimano Ultegra 11 speed drivetrain with Shimano RS685 hydraulic disc STI levers and a SRAM Rival compact crankset make finding the right gear and stopping on a dime easier than ever. HED Tomcat rims wrapped up in 700x40mm Schwalbe G One tubeless ready tires keep you rolling on, wherever the adventure takes you.
