The AirSpeed back panel and lightweight aluminum frame create a suspension that's supportive and conforms to the body, allowing you to carry more without feeling the extra weight. The shoulder straps and waist belt are a combination of mesh and energy gel. The top lid is removable and waterproof, helping compress your gear and protect it, at the same time. Two water bottle pockets set up your hydration, two zippered pockets on the waist belt keep small, important items handy and a front stretch pocket gives you the ability to stash an extra layer or rain jacket. The sleeping pad straps and compression straps are removable, when you need to cut even more weight.
