Sure, a quick and easy elastic band secures the Trace Front Light to handlebars like many other LED front lights, only Exposure's expertise makes this much more than the typical watch battery in a rubber case. First off, the Trace light combines a powerful, yet efficient Cree XPG LED with a lightweight 700 mAh lithium ion battery in a CNC'd aluminum body. And when compared to a plastic body, it's far more durable and efficient at transferring heat from the LED. Ultimately, both of these traits ensure an extremely long bulb and battery life. In flash or low, the Trace will last around 24 hours, and in high or steady, it'll give you 110 lumens of light for about three hours. The Trace features Exposure's Optimum Mode Selector with three brightness modes and the choice of either solid or pulsing beams. And for the sake of convenience, it uses a USB interface to charge. The Exposure Trace Front Light also uses a fuel gauge with a traffic light system to make it clear when it's time to recharge.
