For 2014, Fischer has raised the bar yet again. The Hybrid Series of skis is back from Fischer with a wood core version and also a version with a sheet of Titanl. The Hybrids can change from a traditional camber carver to a crud and powder slaying All Mountain Rockered ski with the click of a switch. This Hybrid features a wood core with Sandwich Sidewall Construction, Air Carbon technology and Air Carbon Ti .5. The Air Carbon is an aerospace material that is extremely lightweight and strong. The Titanl sheet makes this a strong aggressive ski for the advanced to expert skier. This would be a great 1 ski quiver for an east coast, aggressive charger. If this ski seems just a tad too stiff, be sure to check out the non Ti version. This ski is also available in a 95mm waist width for western skiers or for folks who just prefer a wider platform.
