The RC7 My Style Women's Skate Boot isn't quite Fischer's top of the line shoe, but it isn't far off. It splits the difference between an ultra high performance race boot and a regular ol' race offering, with plenty of power, support, and precision for all but the most serious lady racers. To make sure it fits the specific anatomical needs of women, Fischer designed the RC7 with its Ladies' Fit Concept, which has a narrower heel and lower instep volume than men's boots to ensure a more precise, comfortable fit. A molded cap in the heel and EVA foam around the instep naturally conforms to your foot after several days of skiing for even more comfort and control, and a soft antimicrobial insoles provide excellent support and fight off odor. The Triple F membrane also ensures excellent breathability and water resistance to keep your toes happy, and the light Comfort Guard insulation makes sure they don't get cold when the weather's dipping into the just plain mean range on the thermometer. Comfort's awesome, but at the end of the day, the RC7 is made to excel on the course. Torsional stiffness is provided by the stiff and light Xcelerator sole and the polymer Crosslink, which prevent twisting when the boot is under stress, sending all the energy you put out straight into the ski to keep you flying forward. A hinged polymer cuff provides even more side to side support, while allowing an excellent range of fore and aft movement to reduce fatigue and encourage proper technique. The RC7 fits like a glove, too, thanks to instep and hook and loop ankle straps that lock your foot into the boot, so you never feel like you're unstable or losing energy where you shouldn't. You can even adjust the canting of the boot to dial in the perfect race dominating fit, ad simply pull the Speed Lock laces tight for killer comfort.
