The glory goes to the big mountain lunatics, gymnastic park rats, and high speed gate bashers, but let's be real most of us are just in it to have fun. But, that doesn't mean we don't like to adventure, push it, and get into a little bit of everything, which is why it's important to have a ski that matches those ambitions. Queue up the Fischer Ranger 90 Ti Ski: a strong, light, and versatile stick that's made for a little bit of everything, from springtime bumps to day old crud to early morning corduroy. Now, this killer versatility starts with the Air Tec Ti beech and poplar wood core which, in addition to being lively enough to pop off moguls and slither through trees, is milled to remove a significant portion of the material, which keeps it light and nimble. The Fiber Tech fiberglass laminate provides smooth flex regardless of whether or not you're driving hard through turns or simply cruising. The ski's stiffness isn't overwhelming, but it has been carefully designed to flex when you want it to, yet stay stiff when you can't afford to take a tumble. In addition to the laminates, Fischer dialed in this balance by using its Aeroshape design, which reduces material towards the edges of the ski but maintains a thick, solid center, which keeps the ski from bending out of shape under serious torsion words otherwise known as hard edging. Carbon fiber in the rockered tip keeps the ski from flapping when you're rolling over chop or opening the throttle, the gently raised tail lets you break out of turns and dump speed in an instant, and the solid amount of underfoot camber makes edging on hard snow as easy as downing a 4:30 beer on the deck.
