Fizik 2014 Arione R5 Road Bicycle Saddle w/Kium Rails

The Fizik Arione R5 Kium saddle is another take on the main stay shape of Fizik's saddle lineup, the Arione. Introduced right after the turn of the century, the Arione shook the old guard of the saddle world with its long 300mm length and multiple rider position options. It's a favorite of racers and enthusiasts alike. Instead of the fiberglass thermoplastic composite shell found on the more expensive R3 version, the wallet friendly R5 is built upon a carbon reinforced nylon shell. With it's extended length and flat profile, along with Fizik's Wing Flex technology, the Arione allows for multiple seating positions and complete freedom of movement for your legs. Topped with CX foam to provide a supportive feel with just the right amount of give, the Arione's long, flat shape, and suppleness of the K:ium pronounced koom rails makes a hammock wherever you sit, which can be practically anywhere. The Arione R1 comes with Fizik's K:ium alloy rails, and the new, flat seam, Microtex cover, which is proven durable and now more comfortable than ever.
