Looking like a beefed up Arione that's missing something important, the Fizik Tritone Carbon Rail Saddle is UCI legal and also adapted for multisport racing. Given Fizik's dedication to ergonomics, it's no wonder the Tritone has a shorter nose than most other short nose saddles on the market. Instead of hanging you out on the bowsprit to waste energy balancing, the Tritone quickly morphs onto an Arione like shape, providing support for a time trial friendly open hip angle. Additionally, the full length channel is designed to provide both pressure relief and adequate support, thanks to the fifty millimeter wide nose having enough room for the channel and padding.Flipping the Tritone over reveals features just as interesting as the ones on top. Braided carbon railswhich are eighty five millimeters long, providing plenty of room to dial in your bike fitattach to a carbon reinforced nylon shell. More impressive than the carbon rails, however, is the modular Carriage Kit, which fits seamlessly to the saddle. Providing mounts for two bottle cages and room for a tube, CO2 cartridge and inflator, the Carriage Kit can also be removed if your aesthetic needs run more toward time trialist than triathlete.
