The Fuji Barnebey takes what many have called a regular bike or beach cruiser for those on the coast and made some worthy improvements. It still has one simple speed and a coaster foot brake, but now sports a modern twist including lightweight aluminum frame and alloy wheels. One really stand out feature is Fuji's Foot Forward design which places the rider more behind the pedals rather than right over them allowing them to easily put their foot on the ground while still having plenty of leg extension to the pedals. Other comfortable features include the Selle Royal Metropolitan Gel saddle with elastomers for even more cushioning, foam padded grips and 26 X 2.1 inch wide tires. You also get a chain guard to keep your clothes from rubbing the chain and resin pedals with a Kraton non slip inset to keep your feet from slipping off.
