Fuji SL 2.5 Disc Road Bike 2017. Road bikes are changing and their changing fast. While disc brakes have been on the scene for a while now, for the most part they've been confined to the realms of endurance and gravel bikes. Those days are over now, and the improved stopping power and control of disc brakes are making their way to race bikes. And there are few better disc brake race bikes out there than the Fuji SL 2.5 Disc. The Fuji SL 2.5 is built around a full monocoque C10 carbon fiber frame, designed to be stiff, fast and lively on the climbs, while giving you confidence inspiring handling and control on the descents. While the wheelbase had to be lengthened slightly, you won't notice any difference in handling or performance thanks to the oversized ETC chainstays. A PF30 bottom bracket and tapered headtube also help increase rigidity throughout the frame, while the pencil thin seatstays improve compliance for comfort. The frame and FC 440 full carbon fork both feature 12mm dropouts the rear are convertible to QR and flat mount disc tabs. Drivetrain and stopping duties are handled by Shimano, with their excellent 105 5800 11 speed derailleurs and shifters matched up to TRP Spyre mechanical disc brakes for the ultimate in shifting performance and braking control and power. Oval Concepts supplies the 527 disc wheels with a nice wide rim and 6 bolt disc hubs with 12mm front and rear thru axles. Vittoria Zaffiro Pro Slick 700x25mm tires keep you connected to the road, and an Oval finish kit gives you a comfortable and durable cockpit set up.
