Fuji Track 2.0 Bike 2012. If you're the type that likes to go fast and turn left, you'll love the 2012 Fuji Track 2.0 track bike. This pure race machine is made with speed, acceleration and handling as top priorities, and is engineered with the unique needs of track riders in mind. The Track 2.0 frame is made from the lightweight and stiff A6 SL alloy with aero tubing. This tube set is renowned for its robustness and stiffness, and is optimized for the extreme wattage output track riders can achieve, and the geometry is designed to counter the G forces encountered on the banks. The aero profile helps keep air resistance to a minimum, reducing the amount of work necessary to stay at speed. The included tear drop profile seatpost integrates nearly flawlessly with the frame to reduce the amount of drag generated by the seatpost collar or a round section seatpost. The carbon fiber bladed carbon fiber fork is overbuilt and designed for maximum rigidity, so more of your power goes into propelling the bike forward instead of frame flex. To that end, Fuji equipped the Track 2.0 with a pair of deep drop 6061 aluminum track bars that can stand up to the stresses of the final sprint. Power transmission duties are handled by a Fuji 48T crankset, KMC track chain and Fuji 15T cassette. This is a gear ratio that has the advantages of being both easy to spin up, while allowing you to reach high speeds without maxing out on cadence. The wheels are a pair of 30mm aero alloy clinchers that help you knife through the wind and spin up quickly with relatively few watts lost to rotational energy.
