There's a common misconception that high performance boots for freeride and park destruction will also destroy your shins, but the Full Tilt Men's First Chair 8 Ski Boot is here to prove otherwise. Replacing the Konflict in the Full Tilt lineup, the First Chair 8 is built on the FTS Soul Chassis, giving the boot a narrow medium 99mm last, stiff flex, and the same smooth, natural, pinch free flex pattern you've come to love and expect from Full Tilt. The First Chair 8 is geared towards the hard charger that expects a snug, responsive fit whether they're skiing pillow lines, crushing tight chutes, or stomping tricks in the park. The First Chair maintains the same last as years past, but with a slightly roomier toe box for just a bit more comfort than the old Konflict. The boots feature Full Tilt's customizable flex, but they come standard with a 8 tongue, making them a stiff, hard charging boot right out of the box. The non slip rubber sole is replaceable, should you happen to spend a few seasons dragging your heels across the resort parking lot or kicking your toes into volcanic gravel hiking the park at Hood during the summer. You'll find the same shock absorbing boot board that saves your feet during big landings, and the same ribbed tongue that won't bottom out on you when you're skiing hard or dropping stacked pillow lines. Like all Full Tilt boots, the ingenious, bulk free design of the First Chair 8 checks in at around two pounds lighter than similarly sized alpine boots, which gives you that much more pop in your two sev on to the down flat down.
