It's difficult to confirm, but the scuttlebutt floating around says the Full Tilt Rumor Women's Ski Boot is the world's lightest high performance women's boot. While no one has been able to confirm or deny this, we have been able to ascertain that it gets after it pretty hard maybe the FTO Original three piece shell is responsible. The pivoting tongue certainly makes the Rumor easy to get on and off, while the ribbed design and free flexing cuff provide a smooth, consistent, and complete flex on groomers, in the park, and when you're ripping through powder. With a stiffness rating of 4 of 10, the Rumor's tongue won't overpower you, but it also has enough juice to go hard without feeling squishy and, as with all Full Tilts, it's easy to install a stiffer tongue if you want. This lightweight charger also features a moderately thick, completely heat moldable Intuition Performer liner to boost the Rumor's stiffness, and has a women specific 99mm last and anatomically shaped cuff. The toe box is also wider to keep the blood circulating easily through your toes. Full Tilt's rigid boot board provides plenty of feedback and power without feeling like a brick underfoot, and the nylon ratchet buckles and cables wrap your foot instead of tightening the shell, so you can lock down a precise fit without affecting the Rumor's flex. The boot also features a rubber heel that helps absorb shock and gives you grip on on rocky ridges and icy parking lots.
