The Giordana Sport Wool Jersey provides the benefits of wool while remaining practical for frequent use on your most strenuous rides. Rather than use wool exclusively, Giordana added polyester and polypropylene to create a blended fabric for this jersey. Your favorite cycling kits get a lot of wear, and this fabric was designed to withstand machine washes and resist shrinking better than its more delicate 100% wool counterparts. The synthetic polypropylene also helps pull moisture away from your skin faster on long rides. Expect a jersey that's softer than wool on its own as a result of the added polyester and polypropylene. Giordana decided to construct this jersey on the same machines it uses for its seamless base layers, which means you get a fit that's stretchy and accommodating like a knit, but still fitted enough to stay in place while you ride. While the jersey isn't entirely seamless, four needle flatlock stitching throughout adds comfort and helps eliminate abrasion. For stashing ride essentials and nutrition, three rear pockets provide plenty of room. The jersey also features a 14cm zipper to help manage temperature mid ride, with a zipper garage at the collar to protect your skin.
