The jersey is made primarily of a merino wool and polyester blend for exceptional softness and comfort, while the Wind Guard overlay on the front is a windproof nylonspandex blend to prevent penetration of the wind but still allow freedom of movement. The full length front zipper lets you open up and ventilate as much as you need to if the temperature rises, however, and the two front pockets are complemented by thumb loops on both cuffs to make the jersey quite hand friendly.
