It's sewn into a three piece design to fit the natural curve of your hand and prevent bunching when you grip the bars. AX Suede retains the same breathable properties you find in most microfibers to help keep your hands dry. Your hands are one of three contact points your body has with the bike and hold up a significant amount of body weight, so Giro uses Poron XRD padding throughout high pressure areas on the palms to prevent numbness during long days on the trails. Though these are full fingered gloves, Giro didn't overlook the necessity of breathability while riding in warm weather. The Xena Gloves have a moisture wicking mesh upper that stretches with you as you vary your hand position on the bars. The top of the thumbs are finished with a soft, absorbent microfiber so you can wipe perspiration from your face and glasses without scratching them.
