Multi day summit bids and light and fast thru hikes are both well within the Haglofs L. I. M. Strive 50 Backpack's wheelhouse. The pack's less is more L. I. M. design consists of a streamlined profile, lightweight fabrics, and minimal features. The top loading design makes for easy packing, and the addition of a full length, waterproof front zip grants entry into the main compartment for easy access to buried layers and gear.Haglofs' 100HT Robic nylon fabric helps to keep the weight down, and it's treated with a PFOA free DWR finish for extra resistance to light precip when a rain cover would be overkill. The L. I. M Strive 50 falls within the ultralight category with a weight of just two and a half pounds, but can be lightened up a bit more thanks to the removable top lid. Although simple by design, the Strive is still fully equipped for mountain travel with its hydration sleeve, dual hose routing through both shoulder straps, elastic compression straps, and two tool loops that can be used to carry either trekking poles or ice axes.
