Anglers who loved the fast action feel of the popular Zenith, but wanted just a bit more backbone to punch flies through downstream winds, will fall head over waders for the ultra fast action of the Wraith. Made with Hardy's top secret Sintrix 550 compound, the Wraith is made with the highest grade of Sintrix material available from Hardy. Sintrix 550 makes the Wraith both lighter and stiffer than the award winning Zenith, resulting in a rod that's faster, stiffer, and all around better at making long, precise casts that are often key to a successful day on the water.Hardy has made the Wraith available in a wide array of configurations with rod weights starting at five and going on up to eight for salmon and steelhead applications. Each option features Hardy's Sintrix 550 blank construction along with top shelf components along with hardwood spacers available in the five and seven weights and triaxial carbon spacers available on rods ranging between seven and eight weights. All rods feature a cork handle available in either half wells or full wells shape, along with Fuji titanium stripper guides and black recoil guides standard on all options.
