The Head Monster 108 Ski probably isn't for you if charging hard gives you goosebumps. If rallying top to bottom laps across hardpack, chunder, and pow makes you drool and cry tears of joy, though, it's worth a look. Head designed the Monster with just enough tip rocker to smooth out uneven snow and made sure that the long camber would provide bomber edge hold for all conditions ripping. The World Cup Sandwich Cap construction combines the best part of cap construction smooth flex and light weight with the rugged durability and edge grip of a sandwich layup, while the titanal metal laminate gives the Monster enough backbone to straight line just about whatever you point it at.If that's not enough, Head also hooked the ski up with a layer of Graphene, a thin layer of carbon fiber that's one of the strongest materials on the planet, to give the Monster tons of snap and torsional stiffness. Despite all the burliness, the wood core retains a good amount of pop and maneuverability, and Head's ERA 3. 0 technology makes sure the rocker profile, turn radius, and energy rebound all are complementary, so the Monster feels balanced and smooth despite its aggressive nature.
