Free, beautiful and not afraid to charge through whatever comes her way, the Oracle 100 is an all mountain ski made for hard charging women. Often women's skis are made to be soft and full of flex. While this makes them more friendly when skied moderately, such skis have a tough time going big when the stoke is high. Icelantic created the Oracle 100 to give the ladies a ski that will power through mixed conditions, pivot and float on powder and lay an aggressive edge when arcing turns. An early rise tip allows the ski to plow over mixed conditions and rise above the surface on powder. Traditional camber underfoot and a 16 meter turn radius allow for strong and purposeful turns when on edge. The slightly flared tail allows for powering out of the end of a turn and provides pivot when skied over center. The Oracle 100's moderate waste leads to faster edge to edge transfer. Moreover, Icelantic's Fly Weight core gives the Oracle 100 a balance of rigidity and pop for railing turns on hardpack and bouncing through pow. Strong and graceful, the Oracle 100 can be driven with purpose and still be spirited the way skiing is meant to be. The Oracle 100 starts with Icelantic's Fly Weight core, using a combination of aspen hardwood and poplar, which keeps the weight down and the flex balanced. Next comes a triaxle fiberglass laminate the fibers in this laminate run laterally, vertically and diagonally. The combination of three directional fibers adds greater strength while allowing less resin to be used, resulting in weight savings. The topsheet is made from cabonium, a carbon fibre matrix that allows for great strength and torsional rigidity at only a fraction of the weight of fiberglass.
