Before you walk down to the crossroads to trade your soul for a pair of pants that will offer tough protection during the hike to the put in and serious waterproof performance in the water, save yourself a soul by pulling the trigger on the Immersion Research Devil's Club Pants.Named after the devil's club plant that lines a lot of of rivers in the Northwest, these pants were designed and built to take a beating in and out of the water, so paddlers can wear them with confidence as they walk into a remote river and still stay dry in the water. As far as materials go, the Devil's Club is composed of a tough nylon taslan shell with durable and breathable three layer construction and fully sealed seams. A high back neoprene waistband offers extra protection, and the neoprene ankle gaskets form a highly water resistant seal. Immersion Research even threw in a zippered front pocket where small pieces gear can be stashed during nasty portages or demanding multi day adventures.
