One of the areas the standard GoPro mounts are clearly lacking is rear facing mounts. Granted, the standard bar mount can be used to attach your camera to most standard seatposts, but many of us don't ride standard seatposts. In particular, if you have a carbon road bike with aero tube shapes and an integrated seat mast, you're fresh out of luck. The Go Big Pro Saddle Rail Mount alleviates this problem by forgoing the seatpost entirely, and securely attaching to your saddle's rails. The resulting perch provides an excellent field of view, perfect for capturing the faces of every rider you drop. Or, if you're the designated photographer, this is a great way to ride off the front and shoot your buddies as they take turns battling to hold your wheel. That's been the longstanding beauty of GoPro, and inherently the potential of this mount and it almost feels cliche to say it, but the resulting footage is only limited by your imagination. K Edge is the official mount supplier to pro teams like Garmin Barracuda, the BMC Pro Racing Team, and our very own Competitive Cyclist Pro Team. Race footage is invaluable in establishing tactics, or simply to get an unprecedented level of access to the heart of the pro peloton. In fact, watch our boy Chad Beyer take a forward facing GoPro for a hot lap around the Redlands Classic Criterium course. Like their excellent chain catchers, the K Edge Go Big Pro Saddle Mount is made in Boise, Idaho from sturdy, CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum. It provides a confident fit on all standard 2 rail saddles, including those with oversized rails. It also includes all of the mounting hardware you'll only need an allen key to get everything dialed in. All told, the mount only adds 45 grams to your rig, and should you manage to somehow break it, K Edge backs all their mounts with a lifetime warranty. Choose between Black, Gunmetal, or Anodized Red.
