For some women, their only saving grace is a Bloody Mary on a Sunday morning for you, it's clicking into the K2 Women's Remedy 102 Ski and spending the day floating, slashing, and shredding the fresh cold smoke to smithereens. The Remedy's been totally redesigned for better soft snow performance, with an All Terrain Rocker that features a rockered tip and tail for improved float in powder, along with camber underfoot for reliable hardpack and crud busting performance. The Powder Tip and tail are slightly tapered, moving the widest points of the ski toward the middle to decrease deflection and improve the Remedy's ability to plane over soft snow, and the blunt tail shape gives it a loose, surfy, and fun feel in powder. The Remedy has a powder friendly look about her, but she's more than capable of handling hardpack and chop, too. K2's BioFlex 3 core features a long, stiff section of aspen in the middle of the ski for power and edge control when you're blasting down the frontside, with soft paulownia wood in the tip and tail for increased maneuverability and decreased swing weight. To keep the sidecut and rocker working together at all speeds, K2 designed the Remedy with a Baseline 2. 0 Freeride Maneuverability profile that ensures float and stability in the tip, surfiness and quickness underfoot, and an easy releasing tail so you can be quick or powerful as the circumstances dictate. It also built in TwinTech sidewalls, which roll the top of the ski into the sidewalls for increased durability. Finally, K2 threw in some tip and tail skin attachment points to make it easy for you to access the goods under your own power.
