Karakoram Prime Connect Splitboard Binding

Split specific bindings tend to be on the expensive side, so a little while back the guys at Karakoram figured out a way to attach their bindings to solid boards for the sake of backcountry enthusiasts who wanted to ride the resort occasionally without shelling out extra bucks for a second set of binders. Realizing that their split bindings actually rode pretty well in bounds, Karakoram decided to take things a step further this year with the Prime Connect Splitboard Binding. This binding is primed for solid board shredding, but can easily be prepped for backcountry exploration with the addition of Karakoram's Connect Split Kit sold separately. The key feature of the Connect is the Quiver Connector system. It comes standard with two Quiver Connectors, which are the means by which this binding attaches to a board with a 4 hole system. By setting up the Quiver Connectors on your boards ahead of time, you can switch the bindings from one board to the next in mere seconds, all without fussing with screws, angles, or stance measurements. Take the split out before the lifts start running, switch over to your solid pow board to snag some freshies at the resort, then finish off the day with some groomer laps on your carving board, all with the same set of bindings.
