The laces, fluo color scheme, and high gloss uppers on Louis Garneau's Signature 84 men's Shoes combine the contemporary aesthetics of modern cycling shoes with an apparently old school closure system. We write apparently because the six points of contact provide twice the fit adjustment options as the traditional ratcheting or wire buckle with two hook and loop straps. If that level of customization is old school, then we suggest that the new school has some learning to do. The Signature 84's Ergo Air Carbon Composite outsole is equally advanced, consisting of a carbon platform that places a scant 4. 3mm of stiff, efficient material between your feet and the pedals, further reducing the already low number of watts lost to material deflection. The outsoles also feed air into the shoe via LG's multi vent system, and interchangeable Cool Stuff and Hot Stuff insoles let you control the internal temperature based on external conditions. At the heel, the shoes are finished with an internal system to anchor your foot and an external hit of reflectivity.
