Made of a combination of water and wind resistant neoprene and heat trapping Iso Lite, the Thermax is compatible with all types of cycling shoes, with an exposed bottom that makes for easy walking in mountain shoes. They attach with several elastic straps and one small Kevlar plate, with a taped zipper in the back that makes for easy use. There's an additional zipper on the side, also fully taped, that provides ventilation and access to Boa dials and ratchet style shoe closures. The shoe covers are finished with silicone elastic at the cuff that keeps rain, snow, and cold from sneaking down into your socks.
