The versatile MSR Evo Tour delivers all day comfort and all around performance. The Evo Tour's features include a durable, molded frame, integrated traction rails, a built in heel lifter and a comfortable, easy to use binding. The compact profile of the Evo Tour snowshoe maximizes agility and efficiency by promoting an easy, natural stride. The injection molded plastic frame offers flotation and extreme durability. Two parallel, aggressively toothed steel rails provide superior traction than traditional snowshoes. A stainless steel, pivoting crampon moves freely but is designed to not over rotate, allowing you to maintain a free range of motion without jeopardizing balance. With a straightforward adjustable design that accommodates varying footwear and shoe sizes, the user friendly SpeedLock Binding provides easy in and out performance. A wide toe strap diminishes individual pressure points so your foot remains comfortable throughout its time spent in the binding. A removable instep strap is included to provide an even more secure fit for use in challenging conditions. On steep terrain, the Evo Tour's Televator heel lifter can be easily pulled into position with a gloved hand to reduce calf fatigue and better distribute load across the entire frame.MSR suggested weight range for the Evo Tour is 90 180 pounds including shoes, user and gear. Deep, untracked powder demands a higher surface area from a snowshoe in order to keep you from sinking too deep for easy travel. If you expect to encounter these types of conditions, the modular design of the Evo Tour allows you to attach the MSR Evo Tail 6 sold separately to increase surface area and provide greater flotation. By using tails, you can also increase the suggested weight capacity to 250 pounds. NOTE: Even with tails, the Evo Tour snowshoe may be unsuitable for users over 225 pounds if use is attempted in soft snow deeper than 30 inches. The MSR Evo Tour snowshoe is sold in pairs and is available in your choice of color options.
