While it is only 16mm thick, this vest meets the rigorous EN1621 2 Level 2 standards for protective garments, which is the highest standard for back protectors. A removable, integrated kidney belt complies with FIS rules, and the vest can be worn under a racing suit. During a crash, the vest offers protection to your spinal column, kidneys, and rib cage from multiple angles against sharp edged objects, stones, and chunks of ice.
