A waterproofbreathable GORE TEX outer shell and removable down insulated liner are ready for nasty weather.Fully seam taped and constructed of waterproof, breathable ripstop GORE TEX fabric, the 8000 Meter Mitt is truly weatherproof. A combination of GORE TEX and GORE TEX Paclite fabrics in the outer shell keep your hands completely dry without bulky or weighted fabrication. The impressive warmth of the 8000 Meter Mitt comes from the removable, 700 fill power goose down liner mitten which can be worn alone around camp or in conjunction with the outer shell for summit attempts in the worst weather.A leather reinforced palm on the outer GORE TEX shell mitt provides excellent grip and durability even in the worst of conditions. A gauntlet with drawcord closure and an easy to use wrist strap secures the 8000 Meter Mitt to your hands while ensuring that cold and moisture remain outside the mitt.
