With a carbon reinforced sole and a last construction adapted from Salomon, the Ksyrium Elites transition easily from pre dawn training rides to mid morning mass starts. Like the wheelset of the same name, the Ksyrium Elite Shoes are the every shoe of cycling. As with the men's version, Mavic incorporates perforations and strategic mesh paneling in the Ksyrium Elite's upper, offering cooling ventilation and breathability to keep feet cool through long summer rides. The Endofit band around the midfoot provides a secure fit that allows a bit of space for th metatarsals and wiggle room in the toe box. The closure system consists of a combination as tried and tested as Ksyrium Elite wheels: a micro ratchet strap across the top of the foot and two hook and loop straps across the midfoot and forefoot.
