When we started making PatalohaR shirts 30 years ago, we hoped to restore the intent of the original, hand sewn Hawaiian designs: Formal wear for people who'd never be found at the haberdasher's, no matter the occasion. Since then, we've taken our inspiration from many unique prints and patterns we've found while traveling the world in search of the best surfing, climbing, fishing and funhogging. Two of this season's prints are inspired by plants native to California, the mountain dogwood and polypodium fern the third is a reissue of a traditional Pacific Islands tapa pattern. Made from a soft, 2.2 oz 100% organic cotton plain weave that offers lightweight comfort in warmer weather, the Classic PatalohaR Shirt has a slimmer and more contemporary fit with a single left chest pocket and shirttail hem.
