Mercury Alloy Disc 700c 11 Speed Wheelset. New for 2017, the Mercury Alloy Disc 700c 11 speed Wheelset is one of the smoothest and most durable set of disc brake specific wheels you will ever ride. Mercury utilized Finite Element Analysis FEA to optimize the strength to weight ratio, lateral stiffness, and durability of the rims which feature a proprietary alloy and laser welded construction. Mercury hubs boast wider flanges which create additional lateral stiffness as well as an axle optimized for lower weight without any compromise to strength. The hubs roll super smooth on sealed cartridge bearings and the freehub is compatible with ShimanoSRAM 891011 speed cassettes. The hubs are also set up for 6 bolt disc brake rotors. Butted Sapim Race spokes provide exemplary strength and a lighter weight with the front and rear wheels both utilizing 24 spokes in a 2x lacing pattern.
