One of the first women specific board to harness Never Summer's aggressive Ripsaw Rocker Camber, the Never Summer Women's Aura Snowboard transmits its hard charging capabilities all over the mountain, mowing over choppy snow, floating through fresh powder, and dissecting tight tree runs with equal parts power and precision. This all mountain twin is super stable at high speeds, thanks to the Ripsaw Rocker Camber, which places twice as much camber under the binding inserts radiating out toward the tip and tail. This profile gives you the extra bite of camber underfoot for snappy response and powerful edge hold, but with the catch free playfulness and added float of rocker between the bindings. As part of Never Summer's Carbonium series, the Aura features a SuperLight Wood Core for serious weight savings without compromising Never Summer's legendary durability. The Carbonium topsheet resists scratches and chips better than a traditional topsheet, and also acts as a built in stomp pad thanks to its matte like finish. Carbon VXR Laminates add significant stiffness to the torsional flex pattern at the tip and tail, which is especially useful for boosting off side hits and powering through choppy snow. Keeping your stability at speed is important, especially for hard charging riders. That's why you'll find the RDS 2 Damping System inside the Aura to reduce high speed vibration, but without removing the lively feel that makes for a fun, poppy board. Another important feature, especially for those who ride in less than stellar conditions i. e. Midwest and Ice Coast riders, the Aura leverages a Vario Power Grip sidecut for aggressive edge hold when conditions are boilerplate or completely iced over. And because the Aura is meant to be ridden through natural terrain, the Durasurf XT Sintered 5501 base is incredibly tough, resisting scratches and damage from hardcore use and abuse.
