The Omega Pacific Tephra TrapWire Carabiner eliminates cross loading and still sports high strength and less weight, making it an excellent belay or rappel biner. By integrating the gate's spring in the TrapWire keeper that keeps ropes and devices in place, the Tephra was able to shed a few ounces and add more convenience for belayers. The keylock nose makes sure your rope doesn't get caught when you're taking climbers off belay.
