When you're teeing up a sketchy line, traveling in dangerous terrain, or trying to breathe while mobbing through neck deep powder, you need to focus on what you're doing, not worry if your pants are doing their job. Outdoor Research's White Room Men's Ski Pants will let you stay dry, comfortable, and totally dialed in, with a waterproof and breathable Gore Tex three layer membrane that'll stand up to the gnarliest conditions without slowing you down. All the seams on the White Room have been taped for extra waterproofing, and the movement mirroring stretch of the nylon and spandex fabric, along with articulated knees, won't restrict your movement when you're on the bootpack, skinner, or jump turning down a tight couloir. All the hard work that it takes to get to the top of your line is a good bet to get you nice and warm, so Outdoor Research built in two thigh vents, one each on the inside and outside of the leg, to help you cool off and get ready for the descent. The tricot lined waist is also easily adjustable, and zippered hand, thigh, and back pockets keep your gear safe, dry, and organized. There's even a special pocket for your avy beacon, if you're not into the whole chest harness thing. As a finishing touch, Outdoor Research tossed in a Recco reflector, which gives you a little bit of backup in case of an in bounds avalanche emergency.
