Equipped with a powerful single LED bulb, five lighting levels and an integrated wide angle lens, the high performance Petzl Tikka XP 2 is ready for adventure. The feature rich Tikka XP 2 is lightweight, compact and easy to use. A large, user friendly electronic push button allows you to choose between the various lighting modes on the Tikka XP 2. The white LED bulb produces a maximum brightness of 80 Lumens, sufficient to cast light over 230 feet. Two additional settings allow you to regulate the length of the beam, increasing efficiency and burn time in the process. The lowest, most economical setting on the Tikka XP 2 increases burn time to a full 190 hours. A fourth setting produces a flashing, strobe light for emergency signaling. A single red LED also provides a continuous and flashing setting. This red filtered light is especially helpful for allowing the user to maintain night vision for when the light is turned off. An integrated, flip up Wide Angle lens lets you choose between a focused or wide beam. A hinge on the housing of the lamp enables you to aim the beam where you need it most.The Tikka XP 2 is powered by three Alkaline AAA batteries included. With batteries, the Tikka XP 2 weighs 3.1 ounces. To further reduce weight and allow for better performance at lower temperatures, the Tikka XP 2 is also compatible with lithium batteries sold separately. An integrated battery charge indicator lights alerts you when there is only 50% burn time remaining for proximity lighting.Water resistant and suitable for all weather use, the Petzl Tikka XP 2 includes a comfortable, adjustable elastic headband.
