Phantom Carabiner

The Phantom is DMM's super light carabiner and they are rather proud of its specifications. Weighing in at a meager 26g DMM has managed to keep it both large enough to be functional, and super safe with a 9kN open gate strength. All the standard DMM characteristics are present in the Phantom a customised wire gate that pulls into the nose under load, a rope groove, a fully anodised finish and the 'even tension' gate. The Phantom takes I Beam hot forging technology to the next level by using a new, stronger 7000 series alloy and a bespoke wire on the gate that shaves off the extra grams still maintaining ergonomics and strength.The Phantom 5 pack contains red, blue, green, gold and purple carabiners, allowing climbers to color code their cams and other equipment for easy recognition.
