Reynolds Cryo Blue Power Brake Pads. While the original Reynolds Cryo Blue pads set a new standard for braking performance with carbon wheels, the new Cryo Blue Power brake pads take things to a whole new level. Designed in partnership with industry leader Brakco, the pads are designed for superior stopping power, heat dissipation and wet weather performance. The new pads feature an aerodynamic tapered design that offers a 44% larger braking surface than the standard pads. Six angled slots help move air across the braking surface and rim to help dissipate heat and prevent brake fade during extended braking, as well as channeling water away from the rim in wet weather. While the older standard pads were great, the new Power pads are an excellent way to drastically improve the performance of your Reynolds carbon wheels. NOTE: Reynolds Carbon wheels with the CTg braking system are equipped with Reynolds Cryo Blue brake pads which are an integral part of the CTg braking system. Reynolds only recommend the use of these brake pads. Use of any other brake pads will immediately void your warranty andor Reynolds Assurance claim.
